Terms & Conditions





  • www.joyd.my is a website operated by Joy Design Studio Sdn. Bhd (“we”, “our”, “us”). We are registered in Malaysia under company number 1079316-K. Our registered office is at No.6, Jalan Setia Dagang, U13/AJ, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.


  • These Terms and Conditions govern the supply by us of any Product ordered by you on the Site. By agreeing to order a Product, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.




  • You can place orders for Products with us by following the process outlined on our site. You acknowledge that by placing an order with us you will be under an obligation to pay for the Products in that order.


  • Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each stage of the order process.



  • When you submit an Order to the Site, you agree that you do so subject to these Terms and Conditions current at the date you submit your Order. You are responsible for reviewing the latest Terms and Conditions each time you submit your Order.


  • All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We will send you an email to confirm acceptance. The contract between you and us will only be made when we send you this email to confirm acceptance. We will charge your chosen payment method after we accept your order. We will send a further email when your order has been dispatched.


  • Irrespective of any previous price you have seen or heard, once you select a Product that you wish to Order, you will then be shown or told (on the Site) the charges you must pay including taxes, if applicable, and any applicable delivery charges. Unless otherwise stipulated on the Site, all charges are in the currency then in force in Malaysia. Subject to clause 2.7 below, this is the total that you will pay for receipt of the ordered Product.


  • Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the Products ordered. This includes ensuring that the Product ordered will pass freely into your room of choice, they fit in that room, can be transported through the door of your flat or room, stairs and doorways, and there are no other issues that could make delivery more complicated or impossible.


  • We try very hard to ensure that the price given to you is accurate, but the price of your Order will need to be validated by us as part of our acceptance procedure. If the price for the Order changes before we accept your Order, we will contact you and ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed at the amended price.




  • Please note that we only deliver to addresses in the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.


  • We will call you to confirm the delivery date and time within 2 days of order acceptance.


  • We shall aim to let you know if we expect that we are unable to meet our estimated delivery date, but, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.


  • Your estimated delivery date will be as set out in a dispatch confirmation sent by email. Although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure your Products are delivered within the estimated timescales, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that unforeseen issues affecting the manufacturer of the Product or our delivery partner will not affect them. If we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date, we will contact you with a revised estimated delivery date.




  • Ownership of the Products will pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.
  • The Products will be your responsibility from the time of delivery.




  • We may cancel a Contract if the Product is not available for any reason. We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made.


  • If you wish to cancel your order please contact our Customer Service Team via email.


  • If you cancel your contract with us, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).


  • We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.


  • We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the Products back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the Products, whichever is the earliest.


  • If you are returning the Products to us under because they are faulty or mis-described, we will replace the Products with the new one. As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described.


  • You must return Products to us as soon as reasonably practicable. We will collect the Products from the address to which they were delivered. We will contact you to arrange a suitable time for collection.


  • You must take care when opening packaging that the Products were delivered in and carefully re-pack the Products in the original (or similar) packaging prior to returning the Products to us.




  • From time to time we may release promotional vouchers that may be used on the Site, which we will send to you by email. Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed on the Site.


  • Promotional vouchers are valid for the specified period stated on them only, can only be redeemed once and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional vouchers.


  • If you place an Order for a Product less than the value of the promotional voucher, no refund or residual credit will be returned to you.


  • Promotional vouchers are only valid for normal price item only.


  • In the event of fraud, an attempt at deception or in the event of the suspicion of other illegal activities in connection with a gift voucher purchase or redemption of that voucher on the Site, we are entitled to close your Account and/or require a different means of payment.




  • The material displayed on this Website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. However, we will ensure that shipping information, product price(s), product description(s) and other information on this site is correct.




  • The JOY names and logos and all related names, design marks and slogans are the trademarks or service marks of our licensors or us.




  • We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website, and in the material published on it. Copyright laws and treaties around the world protect those works. All such rights are reserved.


  • You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Website for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on the Website.


  • You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.


  • You must not use any part of the materials on the Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a license to do so from our licensors or us.


  • If you print off, copy or download any part of the Website in breach of these Terms of Use, your right to use the Website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.




  • These Terms of Use and your use of the Website (and all non-contractual relationships arising out of or connected to it or them) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Malaysia law. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysia courts to settle any dispute, which may arise under these Terms of Use.
